Terms and conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases of products from Meditea AB through www.meditea.se
or through direct orders placed with the company.
Meditea AB primarily sells products to business customers and healthcare organizations. In certain cases, products may also be sold to private consumers.
By placing an order, the customer agrees to these Terms and Conditions.

Orders
An order becomes binding once it has been confirmed by Meditea AB through an order confirmation sent via email.
Meditea AB reserves the right to:
reject an order
correct any errors in pricing, product descriptions, or availability
adjust delivery times when necessary
Order confirmations may be generated automatically and without manual review.
Prices
All prices are stated in Swedish kronor (SEK) unless otherwise specified.
Prices for business customers are normally stated excluding VAT.
Prices for private consumers include VAT where applicable.
Meditea AB reserves the right to adjust prices in the event of:
supplier price changes
currency fluctuations
technical errors or typographical mistakes.
Payment
Payment must be made using the payment methods available at the time of purchase.
Typical payment methods may include:
invoice (for approved business customers)
card payment
other agreed payment solutions
For business customers paying by invoice, the standard payment term is 30 days unless otherwise agreed.
Late payments may result in statutory interest and reminder fees in accordance with applicable Swedish law.
Delivery
Products are delivered using transport providers selected by Meditea AB, such as PostNord or DHL, unless otherwise agreed.
Estimated delivery time is normally 10–20 business days, unless otherwise stated.
The risk for the products passes to the customer upon delivery to the specified delivery address or upon transfer to the carrier.
Delayed Delivery
If delivery is delayed, the customer will be informed as soon as reasonably possible.
Delays may occur due to circumstances such as:
transport disruptions
supplier delays
customs processing
other circumstances beyond the control of Meditea AB.
Meditea AB shall not be liable for indirect losses or consequential damages resulting from delivery delays.
Returns
Returns are only accepted following prior approval from Meditea AB.
To be eligible for return:
the product must be unused
the original packaging must be intact and unopened
the product must be in resalable condition.
Due to hygiene and safety regulations, certain products, including sterile or medical products, cannot be returned once the packaging has been opened.
Return shipping instructions will be provided by Meditea AB. Return shipping costs may be charged to the customer unless otherwise agreed.
Right of Withdrawal (Consumers Only)
Private consumers purchasing online have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days of receiving the product in accordance with EU and Swedish consumer protection laws.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
products with broken hygiene seals
custom or specially ordered products
products with limited shelf life.
When exercising the right of withdrawal, the customer is responsible for return shipping unless otherwise stated.
Complaints and Defective Products
If a product is defective or damaged, the customer must notify Meditea AB within a reasonable time after discovering the defect.
Complaints should be submitted to:

description of the defect
photos of the product.
If the complaint is approved, Meditea AB may choose to:
replace the product
repair the product
issue a refund.
Warranty
Unless otherwise specified, products are covered by a warranty against manufacturing defects.
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from:
improper use
modifications to the product
normal wear and tear
failure to follow the manufacturer's instructions.
For medical devices, the product must be used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions for use (IFU).
Product Use
Products sold by Meditea AB must be used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and applicable regulations governing medical devices.
Information provided on the website is intended for general informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice.
Customers should consult qualified healthcare professionals regarding medical use.
Fraud
Any suspected fraudulent activity may result in:
cancellation of the order
additional verification requirements
reporting to relevant authorities.
Force Majeure
Meditea AB shall not be liable for failure or delay in fulfilling its obligations where such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
natural disasters
strikes or labor disputes
government actions
technical failures
transportation disruptions.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes shall primarily be resolved through mutual discussion between the parties.
Private consumers in Sweden may submit complaints to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN).
Any disputes shall otherwise be governed by Swedish law and settled in Swedish courts.
Changes to the Terms
Meditea AB reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on www.meditea.se.
